Junior Software engineer (Junior Profile)

We are seeking for a young and motivated software engineer who is interested to learn about new technologies and wants be part of a dynamic and international development team. The Junior Software Engineer will be responsible for design, development, unit test, maintenance and final documentation of specific components within the Irdeto head end system.
Required Skills
· Development experience of C++ and C#
· Experience with Windows and Client/Server development. Linux experience is a plus.
· Experience with OO design to understand its advantages (UML is preferred)
· Technical and analytical skills
· General understanding of relational databases: configuration, relational database model design, stored procedures, and query optimization. SQL development on Microsoft SQL Server experience is preferred
· Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (XML, SOAP)
· Web development knowledge (ASP.NET) preferred. Experience in building web applications and/or converting rich client applications into web based clients would be an advantage
Required Experience
· Willing to troubleshoot, refactor and continuously improve the code quality
· Pro-active, quality-minded with a positive attitude
· Good communication skills
· Good verbal and written English
· Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
· Promotes co-operation, participation and sharing of ideas/ knowledge across the development team
· Good knowledge of best practices for unit testing, quality assurance, code management
